Brother Jacob's Comeback: Reviving the Airwaves Once Again

Dear Blues Fans,

On Sunday, August 17th, 2025, I will be returning to the airwaves with familiar sounds and on a new platform. 've decided to start my own Blues-themed media platform called, the Blues Culture Network, which will also serve as the primary host of my radio show, Blues and News with Brother Jacob. The reason I created this blog, is because I believe that there are many artists, musicians, and people who contribute to Blues culture that often get overlooked by mainstream media outlets. I'd like to help highlight the artistry and great things happening within the Blues scene.

I'd like to apologize for my much longer than anticipated hiatus from the radio. As some of you know, back in March of 2024, I lost my Godmother, whom helped raise me and introduced me to the Blues. Last year was a difficult year for me as I worked to process through much grief and pain. Since her passing, I've taken the time to reflect on life and ways that I can cherish her memory. While I will always think about my Godmother and miss her physical presence, I know that she is watching over me to make sure that I don't give up on the Blues.

I sure hope that you all will join me as a embark on this new venture. If there's one thing that I've learned from being a Bluesman, it's that the Blues is more than just a sound, it's our culture.
